Starting from July 12, 2024, Mapxus is thrilled to announce that our partnership with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. has enabled us to provide our cutting-edge indoor location information service, "mapxus Driven by Kawasaki™," to "Momotetsu Walking @ Aeon Mall Ibaraki" app. This innovative app is part of Aeon Mall Ibaraki's renewal event, offering users real-time indoor location and service information on their smartphones, enhancing their overall experience.
"mapxus Driven by Kawasaki™" offers diverse solutions centered around indoor location data, a field that often complements traditional GPS methods. This is the first application of this technology in a game app set in an indoor facility. The app displays current location information on iPhones or Android smartphones within the game stage, including indoor spaces. It also provides product and service information linked to facility data, enhancing the user experience by bridging the game with the real world.

This is our latest collaboration with Kawasaki: an indoor-outdoor positioning service. By integrating map information obtained from indoor Wi-Fi signals with GNSS outdoor positioning, like GPS, it delivers seamless location data for both interior and exterior spaces. We offer various solutions for realizing spatial DX at leisure facilities, commercial facilities, public transportation, offices, factories and more.
